Our services consist of, but are not limited to: Post Production, Animation, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics, Website Design and Development, Interactive Design and Development, Graphic design, Corporate Identity, Photography, Photo Manipulation and Typography. If you ask us "Can you do it?", our short answer is "Yes".
Who Are we?
We are product enhancers, image-makers, experience creators and tellers of tales. Noir is the brain-child of an animator, a technophile and a designer who share a passion for storytelling and innovation: Since we are here to create vivid illusions with the wizardry of modern technology, our motto might well be, "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain."
Our Process:
The stages of our process will vary, based on the desired product or medium, but here are a few things that we always do:
Concept
We brainstorm with you or your team to develop the best possible solution for your needs. Together we distill those ideas into the richest ambrosia. We accomplish this with the aid of pens, coffee, pencils, coffee, paper, erasers and lots of coffee. Did we mention coffee?
Planning
This is the most crucial stage, more important than Batman's preservation of his secret identity. The planning stage is the road map for how every facet of the project will progress so all the steps will be included, thus assuring a well thought out, complete vision. It also helps us accurately estimate the scope and time frame. We detail everything, every major and minor step in the process, right down to the bathroom breaks.
Execution
It is during this stage when the majority of our expert craft and experience are employed. We use the latest tools, methods, and good mojo to cultivate our ideas. So pull up a chair, put your feet up, sit back, relax and let us do the rest.
Our Team
Here, we strive to tell your story, push our work and technology to the next level, and make ideas happen in any medium. We do this through hard work, diligence, honesty, forethought, competence of craft, but above all imagination. This is how top-of-the-line media is created. Jeffrey Baxter
A long time ago in a hospital not so far away, a force was born. Among Jeff's many accomplishments in his 20+ years of experience Jeff has earned multiple Emmys, too many Tellys to count and a lot of other heavy awards that look, and are, impressive. He has had the pleasure of working on several notable films and television shows. Jeff's impeccable technical skill, craft, and professional eye help keep Noir a dominant force in the galaxy. Our only hope is that he continues to use his powers for good....
David Van Allen
Dave is a storyteller at heart. He is a collector of memories and nostalgia; he is a music-maker and a dreamer of dreams. Dave never stops thinking or sketching. His home studio (and sometimes his desk here) looks like a meticulously organized cross between a toy store and a cabinet of curiosity, Even the snozzberries taste like snozzberries! A multi-disciplined artist, animator and designer, Dave is all about creativity. He has earned degrees in both fine art and media arts not to mention a few professional awards. Dave's heroes are Jim Henson, Walt Disney, Maurice Sendak and #7 The Mick. Dave feels true art, dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.
Shama Chohan
No one can stop Shama now, she's not just having a good time, she's having a ball. Having earned a degree in Digital Design (New Media Design) Shama is a shooting star leaping through the sky. She can design, develop code, and even create custom applications, not to mention her adept typography skills and animation ability. That's why they call her Miss Fahrenheit. La la la la laaaa....
